I have one. I bought mine about 4 years ago. Still works, still tough. When I play it in blitz i lose often, but when I think on longer time controls, i beat it. I also use it against the PC programs. It doesn't stand a change against the PC Programs in blitz, but if you set it in tournament time controls (40/120), it gives a tough fight, usually issuing some fine moves which the pc programs sometimes doesnt even consider. Almost human-like, playing with some short range plans. Sometimes it beats the weaker Winboard / UCI engines, but it never manages to win against the likes of Fritz. CONS: Peg-Board. Might mean trouble for you if one of the peg-slots suddenly stops reacting to your presses. That happened once, I got the unit replaced, no questions asked. That was 2 years ago. Might not be accepted today. My unit works excellently today. No problems after the switching of units. LUDICROUS
