For both GUIs, isn't all the chess engine logic sitting in a single .DLL file,
independent of all GUI code? If so, perhaps that would simplify the process?
(I was only about 10% serious in my previous posting, but there might be a grain
of an idea here.)

If I knew for sure Tiger will be released as a CB engine, I'd happily wait and
buy it. But there is no such assurance AFAIK. Last version, I bought Tiger 14
for ChessPartner and Tiger 14 with Chess Assistant and Tiger 14 for Palm (3
purchases!) and STILL do not have Tiger 14 for the one environment I use all the
time -- Fritz. So this time around I'm waiting (and being unemployed doesn't
help).

The binary compare thing, if at all workable, would IMHO be better than there
NEVER being a Tiger 15 for Fritz/CB.
