Perhaps I did not explain this clear enough. The engines would search simultaneously and all they would have to do is compare scores. The whole process at the end of each programs search would not involve any new thinking, just comparisons of the thinking they did during their time. I could do this on my own by hand if I wanted to just by comparing the analysis of too programs, a very fast tactical one, and a positional program with a wealth of chess knowledge running on seperate computers.
