Strangely enough, I think it is terrific.  But I'm something of a data pervert.

Anything is possible.  If you get Barnes PGN-Extract program, this will do it
for you:

PGN-Extract -c -C -s Beautifully-Annotated-Pgn-File.pgn -oStripped-bare.pgn

That's why God invented EloStat (no... wait... that was Frank Schubert).
It calculates ELO ratings too.  {Not after that Arpad guy, obviously, it is an
abbreviation for Electric Light Orchestra -- rabid chess fans, I am sure}
