Right, but it seems to be only one rank of bavarian chess with 10*11 board:

P - Pawn
U - Unpawn (captures backwards)
N - kNight
C - Caspar (combines knight and bishop in one piece)
K - King
H - Haegar (like a rook)
Q - Queen
D - Depp   (haegar pawns not able to capture or promote)
L - Leuper (like a bishop)

The initial position:
