Christophe I think the multivariation setting of ChessTiger 15 is buggy. Here is what happens. What I did: - I loaded a PGN of a game to analyse it - I clicked on the '+' button in the engine window three times to bring up 4 multi-variations - I clicked on the 'brain' icon to turn analysis mode on - I stepped through the game looking at ChessTigers analysis What happened: When it was White's move I saw 4 variation, with up-to-date analysis as time progressed (i.e. all reached 10 ply together, then 11 ply etc etc). This is how I would expect it to work. However when it was Black's move I only saw variations added if they were better than the previous best move: e.g. the top variation would be the up-to-date analysis of the best move for example to 13 ply, but the second line could contain only the move rejected at 6 ply, never subsequently updated, and the third and fourth lines never filled in at all in some cases. I hope I have explained this well enough Great engine though! George Sobala
