Subject: New to chess playign software...

Just a few questions before I buy a title.

which program is stronger?  Fritz7 or Hiarcs 8?
Is CM9000 comparible in strength to fritz?
where can u view computer rating lists?

Anyone know of any online dealers who sell old table top computer games from say
the Mach 3 and 4 era?  besides ebay (been on there too much searching :))
