Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knows how to run Ruffian on Fritz7? This is what I did. I downloaded it, then installed the engine in my engines folder. I then "created uci engine", and clicked on the Ruffin engine. It worked BUT, it locks up all the time. I tried to test it on Playchess and it always says that my engine didn't make a move, and then the time will run out without a move. This happens usually a few moves outta book. Also, when I play it myself, it always plays very dumb moves. I mean once I noticed that, I would blunder badly on purpose to see if it would take advantage of my mistake, and it doesn't. It always shows a score of 0.01, no matter what. Has anyone had this problem? Do I need more files to make it run properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx Jason...
