I would think nodes per second would be an important factor, but it uses processor speed instead. So if you run an engine that only gets 50Knps on the same processor that gets 1Mnps on the same processor, you still use the same hash size. Obviously the faster engine should fill it's up way before the slower searcher will. Am I missing something? Russell
