I can only give hint's because I have not done this myself. 1) Collect the opk number as in the link above or as decribed on Aron's Winboard faq page. 2) Add the following line to InitString: InitString="xboard\nnew\npost\ncm_parm default\ncm_parm tts=16777216 opk=xxx" the 'cm_parm tts=16777216' is the hash setting so this could be changed if you want another hash size. 3) Change all detpth/sd command in level to 'cm_parm md=' Max depth for the default personality is 99 so a 'depth 29' or 'sd 29' should be changed to 'cm_parm md=99' This command is a permanent depth command unlike the sd that will be reset for each new game. Probably an easier way would be to ask Manfred Meiler for his setup when it is used as an uci-engine, especially if you want to use other personalities than the default. I have bought this gui but have not had need for playing with CM in it until now. I usually do such a thing a month before a otb tournament for training with longer time-control and dgt-board. Last time was in the spring, but then I used Shredder(C)+wb2uci for this. Since this gui support dgt and winboard I will probably use it in the future instead. My normal run with CM9000 is through CM's gui :) Odd Gunnar
