(because, why the very first three?). >S.Taylor i am having tiger 15 for a long time now. i have 2 autoplayer pairs. one 400 and one 1200 pair. if it would be a loser, i would have seen it. chessfun has played lots of games too. and the other beta test team. when i hear/read those kind of posting... i would at first check if the machine is right, the programs are installed accurate. if you e.g. don't increase the hash tables and mix KB with MB tiger plays with 48 kilobytes for hash. this is indeed not much and could decrease the strength IMO drastically. why don't you believe several different people who have the program for many weeks ?? why do you trust such a post ?? i never matched ruffian, because when ruffian came out, my testings of tiger15 have been ended before. but if you want i can set up 60/60 games against ruffian 1.0.1. if this helps, on both autoplayers.
