Sorry Peter,

I´ve just tried to start RebelXP on my computer also in VESA mode, and
in this mode I´ve exactly the same problem. :-(

I tried several layouts, changed windows and colors - but without success.
This feature really doesn´t seem to work under VESA mode.

If you have any possibilty you should try to start RebelXP under DOS -
maybe a DOS boot disc or a boot menu for DOS/Windows would be a good idea.
