I don't necessarily agree.   You can't wrap up "administration" as a single task
or category.  Some things are application specific.  Some are OS specific.
True, windows has a robust GUI compared to Unix, so that does make some tasks
more intuitive.  It's also dangerous because people don't necessarily really
know the in-depth of what they're doing.

You're not a developer, are ya?  Got news for you:  in many shops (not all, of
course) the license costs for a microsoft solution are far less than you'd
think, and development costs are quicker than they'd be in another environment.
