This morning I could read sensational news from the Kramnik vs Fritz match. From the last press conference before the match (source chessbase.de): Kramnik: "happy if I get 4,5 points, but perhaps I must be satisfied with only 4 points" Friedel (speaker for Fritz): "more than satisfied with 4 points, but also 3,5 or 3 points would be a success" Kramnik: "I've examined the games of the Kasparov vs DB2 match and I am quite sure that DEEP FRITZ is better than DEEP BLUE." Friedel: "Fritz is not weaker. Although the 3-4 million positions per sec are slower than 200 million knods per sec, but the parallel IBM processors often calculated the same positions..." Folks, just one question, how important is the weather down there for the condition of the brain, in special when exactly does the water of the brain begin to boil under that climate? Rolf Tueschen
