I don't think Fritz has any "task" other than to maximize it score.

Kramnik on the other hand seems to use the usual match strategy, playing for a
draw with black and for a win with white. I had expected to see Kramnik crush it
8-0, but that is not going to happen if he is that defensive as black.

Kramnik must have some respect for Fritz to be playing like that, maybe he
didn't find any good holes to exploit during his preparation?
