this opening does favor white, only kramnik is the guy who resurrected this
whole variation from obscurity and has played it a lot with very good results.
if anybody knows anything about this position, it's kramnik.

kure, i guess, since there's a picture of kure,morsch and feist with the legend:

i don't know anything about him as a chessplayer though, i don't know if he is
the guy who chooses which openings to play, or whether they have an additional
strong player giving hints.

as kurt already said, kramnik would not play the same game again of course. and
in fact, somebody tried to repeat this line against him one month after his loss
to kasparov:
