Some impressions:
Ruffian proved to be a tough nut to crack in rook endings. Deep Fritz
has improved its play with rook and pawns compared to previous versions.
And that goes for Hiarcs too. Shredder didn't answer up to the rumours of
being particularly strong in endgames. This tourney was very interesting
since the engines often played out the position totally. Tiger was the
only one not losing a single game - but had problems of winning. Deep Fritz
won a couple with the black pieces and showed a significant activity.
