Depends on whether you copied the book to your hard drive or not.

You can't write learning information to a CD-ROM. If it was copied
manually from the CD, you need to switch being read only (for example
in Explorer).

Most of those formulas are nonsense. Use the largest size that still
fits in available RAM. In a middlegame position, the engine should
not access the disk.
