  Here are optimization flags that I use to compile my program:

-O3 -fomit-frame-pointer -march=k6 -mcpu=k6 -funroll-loops -fstrict-aliasing

  some of these might be turned on by default with -O3, I didn't check
carefully. The "-fomit-frame-pointer" flag gives compiler one more register to
use but makes debugging impossible. So it is best to use this option only when
playing real games.
