If the human (i.e. Kramnik or Kasparov) were forced to play complex tactical positions against these versions and setups of DFritz, and soon DJunior, would the Kramnik or Kasparov then be overpowered? If so, this is very serious! And anyway, what's the whole point in playing champ vs. Comp? I would say to see if Computer can beat human champ in positions in which computers are good at. Look, If you give a human a hammer and the computer a hammer, the human can easly smash the computer. That does not prove very much. S.Taylor
