Hi I could compile the thing w/o any problems. What I've noticed though is that you use the backslash when building paths for filenames, which causes funny problems under Unix. The bookfile now has the name 'Extras\Bookl.dat'. :) I think using the normal slash would both work under Unix and Windows? I guess I can get around this little problem by defining 'BOOK_FILE' myself, but nevertheless wanted to point out the lil problem. Sargon
