Here is a game with Ponder On against Deep Fritz 7.  Computer running DF was
much faster than Ruffians. Yes its only one game but both played that one game
with equal starting times and conditions.

White:  Deep Fritz (giant-c) running on a intel 2ghz x2.  Both with Ponder on.
Black:  Ruffian Single 1.533Ghz
