Yes, Tiger only won 2 times (IIRC, ahem....)
I always manage to participate with inferior hardware.
The problem is that I live 6000Km from Paris. I cannot come in person, that's
too expensive. So I let Ernest Bonnem participate in my name.
He has done a very good job over the years, but I cannot ask him to buy the
latest available hardware just to give more chances to Tiger! :)
He has participated in the previous championships with a 504MHz Pentium II. This
time we have been lucky to find a PIII-1GHz laptop.
Over the last championhips, all my opponents typically had 1.5 to 2 times faster
hardware... Chess Wizard always had the fastest hardware.
