It was not broken for Crafyt18.15 on the G-series. :) I could even compile 18.15 with -DCOMPACT_ATTACKS -DUSE_ATTACK_FUNCTIONS -DFAST on the G4 series with both gcc2.95 and gcc3.1... Not to mention that I compiled the whole Gnome distribution and a lot of unix math and bioinf tools with gcc2.95 and gcc3.1 on my G4 and never encountered any problems... I stick to Crafty 18.15 for now...
