I believe that kasparov could also do it
against deeper blue in case of gettting the program before
the games.

prepration against the exact program
is at least 300 elo.

I believe that 2000 players can also
beat programs with 2300 ssdf rating if
they get the program except opening book
before the match and prepare seriously but
nobody offers them money to do it.

Genius3 beated kasparov in active chess but I bet
that with the same hardware with only the right to change
the opening book it is not going to get performance
of 2500 at 25 minutes/game
if you give every player who beat or draws
against it a lot of money.
