Yes he should have access to the program and games played, but not all the way to the final version. After all, if it had been a human championship, no one would be able to "borrow" the opposing GM for months and ask what he would play in every single situation! If the supply of newest versions had been cut at, say, 3 months before the match, it would have been much fairer. I also agree with everyone who has said that tactical "king of computers" ability is not best the way to go. Maybe the qualification should be in the form of scoring most in a series of matches versus GMs, not other computers. Knut Bjørnar Wålberg
