i think you are right, but...

huh? that's just your gut feeling. where is the proof? not in the qualifier
tournament for this match, and not in the SSDF list for sure.

i don't think it makes a difference. correct me if i'm wrong, but kramnik seems
to be playing the same openings he played against kasparov. the fritz team could
change their opening book as much as they liked. if they did this properly,
there should be no way that kramnik can get an exact position on the board which
he had in preparation. kramnik just noticed that playing queenless middle games
is his best bet and is doing just that. i think he would have chosen exactly the
same match strategy had he been preparing with fritz6 or any other computer
program for that matter. and i also think he would beat any other program just
as easily with this strategy!
