Roy, I find such debates unworthy. It looks as if people tried to do some PR for
certain companies. Looks very odd. We should debate about problems and topics,
but to even start a debate about the question if FRITZ (!) now should be
punished, I mean, isn't it a bit premature?

Fritz with all the database features and the cbh - all that is state of the art
of the amateur user. But those who want do experiments with progs, they could
well be more satisfied with other progs. Why? Simply because Fritz looks more
like a coach or training tool. You can out-calculate Fritz! Until now nobody
tried to understand the computer stuff. Kramnik is the true professional and
artist in the line of people like Eduard Nemeth!

All the others from Gulko to Smirin they played normal chess or weak chess from
the opening. Kramnik is the first who made up his mind and tried to figure out
how he could exploit the naivety of Fritz. That doesn't mean that Fritz is now a
bad tool for users. That would be nonsense.

But we should make some reflections about the hype of the > 2700 Elo of such
progs - after the SSDF testings... That is all bogus of course and all those
who are experienced enough knew that and said it! See Bob Hyatt! See Rolf
Tueschen! :)
