I bought ChessMaster 2000 when it came out in the 1980s. I bought CM2100 and CM3000 and CM4000 (a big leap in strength) and CM5000 and CM5500 and CM6000 and CM7000 (regretfully) and CM8000 and now I've received my just-purchased copy of CM9000 from UbiSoft. I've also bought every version of ChessMaster for Macintosh and a few duplicate copies of some ChessMaster PC versions that came with game collection CDs. My fiancee bought CM7000 and CM8000 even though we now live together. The only bad thing is, the box with CM9000 was somewhat crushed (and the outer box was probably too small for the game box). The CDs survived OK but the manual is pretty crunched. So, what's the next version for Windows going to be called? Will there be a new version for the Mac? Mac OS X native? How about a Linux version? You've got a built-in lifetime customer here, waiting!
