You can accomplish this simply by making new personalities based on the
Chessmaster personality, and changing the settings that you are curious about.
There is no need to import The King engine.

But, expecting that the imported version "should be able to at least draw
itself" is also rather strange. They would be the exact same engine (assuming
the same personality settings) so the test has no meaning. If you pit any engine
against itself, it is still somewhat possible to get a 7-3 or even an 8-2 score.
You would have to play at least 100 games to test this theory, and you can just
as easily do it by pitting Chessmaster against itself.
