Since it wouldn't look good for Kasparov to lose against Deep Junior, I can well imagine some postponements (to allow Kasaparov to better prepare). A lot of comparative reputation (Kaspy vs Vlad) will ride on the match, if it follows a big Kramnik success against Deep Fritz. Kaspy won't want to look 'worse than' Kramnik against a PC-based program. Especially after his prior Deep Blue disaster. Can Kasparov succeed as well? Yes, but his normal style (keep queens on board & attack) may _perhaps_ not be the best. He may possibly need to adopt a style more similar to Kramnik (trade queens early and squeeze out a win in great positional style!). Such a change would, of course, acknowledge Kramnik's strength (& style), since Kramnik used it also to successfully crush Kasparov. What will Kaspy do, what will he do? Can't wait to see! --Steve
