Yes the reason is that Chess Tiger needs to update data structures on exit that
are located on the same "card" that the main program. If running from ROM that
is not possible.
However I don't think I will try to fix this in the near future. I'm sorry, but
there are many many features people are asking for, and they will benefit to
many more people.
