OK.

I thought you might have seen me doing something that I was not supposed to be
doing.  I have
_never_ been a "hash table clearer" since the middle 1970's, unless something at
the root changes
enough to skew the evaluation and invalidate positional scores...  This should
only happen twice
in a normal game, opening->middlegame and middlegame->ending, and even those
"shifts" are
very minor...
