I don't see any reason why a chess program should be denied smart software that does the same. It's like saying in soccer when the opponent keeper's skills are not so good, "don't shoot on the keeper, it's not sporty", that is not real. >Let me make a prognosis. His secret: the anti-computer strategy. Anti-computer strategy is not about real chess but deliberately focussing on the weak points of a chess program. I haven't heard a programmer complaining about it. More, GM Loek van Wely literal said, "playing your own style against the computer is suicide". So, a chess programmer would be a fool not shooting back, time control is a good weapon. Ed >Rolf Tueschen
