Thanks, that solved it. I've always used the
"http://username:password@www.talkchess.com/forums/1" method for
logging on automatically. Logging on formally without the addition of
username:password in the shortcut now hi-lights in purple what I've previously
read.
Like you it worked fine before the sp1 update.
