Hi all: Moved by sheer curiosity I played Inmichess against sapphire, and old -but not too old- hand-held unit programmed by Dave Kittinger. Time was around 30 seconds per move. You will see that Sapphire had a good attack, but lost the track and was slowly overplayed by the infinetely faster Inmichess running in my 2oo MMX. Sapphire, as you recall, run in a risc processor, probably 20 times slower or more. Pretty to see the very witty defensive moves sometimes found by Inmichess in the middle of sapphire attack. Promising program, considering how new it is. Here it is the game and sorry for the weird, incredible long and detailed way Inmichess write his moves. No my fault neither the great thing :-) [Event INMIchess Vs SAPPHIRE] [Date "09/01/98"] [Santiago de Chile, IN MY HOME] 1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Ngf6 3. d4 Nfxd5 4. c4 Ndb6 5. Ngf3 Bcg4 6.
