ICC is great! i used to play on fics, which is basically very similar to ICC -
but you do get some goodies on ICC you don't get on fics:

- more players
- more really good players
- live coverage of lots of tournaments, i.e. kramnik-DF right now, but usually
also most super-tournaments
- and best of all, comments on these events - and not by some kind of IM - but
by really great players. the last DF-kramnik game i watched had comments by GM
peter svidler, so you get a chance to see what such a GM thinks which is just
great.
