Here's just one possibility: When first invoked, Fritz 7 calculates the speed of your computer. If it is 400 MHz or below, Fritz works as it does today. But for every 100 MHz above 400, Fritz enables more and more (and more and more as speed increases) "knowledge". So if it's 5000 MHz, the knowlege is vastly higher than if it's 400 MHz, but the search is no deeper (because it already searches deep enough to punish human tactical oversights). This is the anti-human version. The anti-computer version will probably have to devote all its additional speed to a deeper search. But this is only one possibility anyway. Another possibility might involve devoting the extra power to something completely unrelated to the search.
