Every one of my computers (2 PCs & 1 Mac at the moment) has an inexpensive UPS on it. They really help! I look for bargains and recently got a 900 VA model for about $50 after rebate. Others I have are in the 500 VA (apiece) range and cost from $30-$50 US when you buy them on sale and/or with rebates. The town I live in now and the one I lived in before both have/had sufficiently frequent power glitches that I could not tolerate NOT having UPSs!
