I have no idea.

I suspect that it was not a blunder but that he blundered on purpose but of
course I have no proof except the fact that doing this big blunder is not
typical to GM's(I believe that in more than 99.5% of the 120/40 games of GM's
there are no tactical blunders that programs can avoid in 1 or 2 plies search
but I have no statistics about it).

I think that I can expect GM's to avoid stupid tactical blunders in 8 game match
at least with probability of 95% so even one blunder seems strange.

Smirin and Gulko who are clearly weaker than kramnik did not do a stupid blunder
in their 8 game match against the programs.
