Enrique, According to general wisdom among chess programmers, "Chessmaster/The King", "Genius", and "Rebel" really seem to *no* null-movers at all. In the case of "Shredder" I am not sure -- but the possibility to choose a "selective depth" in "Shredder 2" suggest that it is *no* null-mover, too. =Ernst=
