Yes, but what I read from the press conference, Kramnik didn't like the options of playing Q+3 pawns vs Q+4 pawns at all. He thought it would be long term lost. In fact there is not much theory or good practical examples of this ending where white has 4-3 on the K-side. So it looks like Kramnik, trying to avoid this ending, suddenly forgot about the piece loss after Qc4.
