Yes I think he genuinely saw a spectacular line but didnt realise that the computer as it is one saw a defense to it. Gotta give Kramnik some credit,comon hes not stupid he was identified as a genius at 4. Most chess players are very intelligent too, especially in Mathematics and Science.
