with this exception that there is no modern deep blue. the latest thing is
already 6 years old by now. Chips created around 1996 and produced
in 1997. That's 6 years ago!

Fritz is software, that allows you to more flexible test your thing
than hardware which costs a lot of money each cpu and if you take into
account that the cpu's were just produced 2 weeks prior to the match
versus kasparov and never tests were done very seriously, you will know
enough.
