Has anyone noticed that Fritz 7 on a single processor yields better results than
Deep Fritz on a single processor?
These results are based on game 5/12 on ICC. Here is a sample game just recently
played. Fritz 7 was usually kicking butt against usually Human, but not always,
opposition under the name on a computer account of Deep-Katzparov.
Here are statistics for Deep-Katzparov. Approx. half of the games were Fritz 6.
Roughly 190 wins and 10 losses then Fritz 7 was being used. After Fritz 7 the
Stats were approx. 397 wins and 28 losses.

Check out this horrible game!! Then a recently played engine tourn. game which
Deep-Fritz lost quite badly.
Everything was the same as above except Fritz 7 used the Fritz 7 Opening book.
Permanent brain was turned off for the engine tourn. game Also, Nalimov 4 disc

I have noticed that Deep Fritz (At least on my Processor plays more passive and
then sometimes goes into crazy wing attacks (like this game) which yield
nothing.
I would really like to hear other views on this matter.
