Hello Ingo. Amazing you should suggest that, I just finished suggesting that to
Frans this morning! His reply, "Yes, that would be a good idea. Unlike Deep Blue
we're not going hide after the match!"

If there is any chance at all after game eight I will check out our lines on the
game machine. I'm curious about a few things (like if it will play 36...Kf8
after enough time, which I doubt).

I was coming on now before the game to mention I just posted our updated
analysis. I had a few minutes with Danny King to look at some of the key lines.
He is convinced that there are few if any chances in the queen position. But he
did correct me when I doubted there were any chances in the rook+knight vs.
rook. He said he'd won it before and that there are several strategies available
to press. I doubt there is a forced win, however.

The updated analysis is at http://www.brainsinbahrain.com

I got to show the lines to one of Kramnik's seconds, IM Tigran Nalbandian at
dinner last night. He did not look very happy, and was stunned by the ..Rd6+
trick.

I think the key winning chance in the R+K vs R is getting the black king close
and then forcing the rooks off. But not easy at all.

We'll see what Kramnik says after the game. I don't think they've told him yet
and will probably keep it a secret till after the game, which is starting in a
few seconds.

Saludos, Mig
