Hi all,
Chessmaster 5555 has won the Speed Challenge 1998 by impressively beating
Fritz 5 in the final.

The team competition was won by the Knowledge Team (CM 5555, MChess 7, Hiarcs 6,
Chess Tiger 11.4) by beating the Speed Team (Fritz 5, Junior 4.6, "Scarlett II",
Nimzo 98) by 2,5:1,5 and the Combined Team (Rebel 9, Virtual II, Genius 5,
Crafty 15.13) also by 2,5:1,5. Speed Team beat Combined Team by 4:0.
Time control was 40 moves in 2 hours on a P6-233 and a K6-233.
