In XiniX, all positions in book are evaluated by the engine. For most engines,
attacking a half open line on the oppo king is nice so it looks like a nice
move.

BTW Ikarus had difficulties drawing the game. Don't know about ParSOS.
BTW2 After more (automated) analyses, XiniX plays d4 now so my learning seems to
work.
