Sorry to interrupt, but you seem to have left out a third option: Fritz had no
idea how to continue and was repeating the position in its evaluation.
Coincidentally, this is also the truth. Mathias is a very experienced operator
and Fritz was not going to make in progress in that position if Kramnik
continued to move his bishop back and forth. Fritz was moving its rooks around
in the main lines.

You may now rejoin your regularly scheduled conspiracy theory.
