Yes, you can play different personalities against each other. Or, if you want,
you can even play the SAME personalities against each other (e.g. CM vs CM). Or,
you can create a copy of a personality with one slight change (such as different
hash table size, modified contempt for draw, etc.), and play that new version
against the original.

You can pretty much do anything you want with personalities.
